2. Access data / server log files

This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, on servers located in Germany. When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically stores information in server log files (including the IP address in shortened form, date and time, the page accessed, the amount of data transferred and the browser type). This processing is carried out to ensure trouble-free operation and security on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

3. Contact form and contacting us

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide (name, e-mail address, optionally telephone number and company, subject and message) exclusively for the purpose of handling your enquiry. The form data is sent to our mailbox via the e-mail service of our hosting provider STRATO; it is not stored in a database on the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

4. Newsletter (if subscribed)

To send a newsletter, we process your e-mail address on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter and withdraw your consent at any time.

5. Cookies and audience measurement

This website does not set any tracking or marketing cookies and does not integrate any external analytics or advertising services. Technically necessary processes take place without personal tracking.

6. Recipients / processors

For hosting and e-mail delivery we use STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany, as a processor. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO. Further recipients are the services named in sections 7 and 8, insofar as you use them.

7. Map service (Google Maps)

On the contact page, we embed a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited) to show you our location and directions. When the map is loaded, a connection to Google servers is established, during which your IP address, among other data, is transmitted; cookies may be set in the process. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in being easy to reach (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.

8. Videos (YouTube)

On some pages we show videos from YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The videos are only loaded when you click on the preview image; no connection to YouTube is established before that. After the click we use the privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); your IP address and playback information, among other data, are transmitted to Google, and cookies may be set. A transfer to the USA is possible; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR). In addition, you can withdraw any consent you have given at any time.

10. Right to lodge a complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, LDI NRW).
