Is an individual renovation roadmap (iSFP) mandatory?
No, the iSFP is voluntary. It sets out prioritised renovation steps and can trigger a funding bonus (iSFP bonus) when individual measures are implemented.

What does DGNB Gold mean?
Depending on the overall degree of fulfilment, the DGNB awards Silver, Gold and Platinum. Gold is achieved from 65 % overall fulfilment (with a minimum of 50 % in each topic area). The assessment covers environmental, economic, sociocultural and functional quality across the life cycle.

When do I need a life cycle assessment (LCA)?
A life cycle assessment according to DIN EN 15978 is required for QNG and DGNB, among others. It evaluates the CO₂ emissions (including embodied emissions) and the resource use over the entire life cycle of a building.
